B E L I N D A. libra.
Witty, wise, and always on the go, this libra knows which direction we're headed. She's our marketing and research partner. Belinda graduated from the University of Chicago in 1994 and moved to the Bay Area to pursue a career with the SFPD. When that fell through, Belinda joined Team Barbell.
J O A N I E. aquarius.
Her Age is here. Graphic design and site architect, Joanie graduated from Stanford University in 1993 and, once again, in 1994. She moved to San Francisco to pursue a career as a cell animator. Disgruntled by the low wages and long hours, Joanie joined Team Barbell.
M I K E. sagittarius.
Local rock icon and ladies man, Mike offers Barbell his programming expertise. Mike graduated from Stanford University in 1993 in Psychology. Using the Jedi mind trick--a habit he picked up from his ancestor, Sir Francis Drake--Mike was a small-time Vaudevillian. After the unexplained "fire episode," Mike turned to web design and joined Team Barbell.
K E V I N. cancer.
He's the mestizo: half Cajun, half Texan. But he's all DBA. Kevin graduated from Berkeley in 1992 in Architecture, with an emphasis in the rarely talked about, highly innovative field of acoustics. When he's not database administrating, he's going deaf, listening to bands while he continues his pursuit of acoustical excellence in the areas of noise and pop.
I V A N. taurus.
He's the bull. And he's from Texas. (Ask this pard'ner about his short-lived stint with the rodeo, where he rode the famous "Silver Bullet" for 6 seconds.) Ivan graduated from Stanford University in 1993 and joined Team Barbell. He is the "sticky partner"--the glue that binds Barbell together in secret, covalent bonding ways.
