Hey there NoisePop webster. You're at
the Noise Pop 1997 homepage. If you're looking for information on the upcoming Noise Pop 1998, you should go to the new HorseBrand site and have a look there. The 1997 shindig is over, of course, but you can still have a look around. Click here to see the schedule, and then click on the individual show pages to get to venue info, band and label links, and photos from the shows that will be uploaded soon if they aren't already. Since you're obviously an online aficionado, also be sure and check out the secret NoisePop netcast show that featured Snowmen, Baby Carrot, and The Foster Brooks. It went down on Saturday afternoon at 9up, a new online music venue broadcasting shows biweekly from a rehearsal studio in San Francisco. There was also a live RealAudio feed by MediaCast of the Wednesday night show from Great American Music hall. Here's the way to the page. Be sure to check out the coverage in Addicted to Noise's Music News of the World section; they did several pieces throughout the festival. If you want to see more press stuff, there's also a story at the CitySearch site, as well as a piece in the SF Examiner. And if you want to know the real story of the Noise Pop Festival, check out this interview outtake from the CitySearch story that was controversally cut from publication 'cause it was Too Hot for Print! Thanks for coming... |
